Position Overview:
Bon Chef, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee our bonded warehouse operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing imports into a third-party bonded warehouse, fostering strong relationships between the warehouse, customs brokers, and Bon Chef.
Additionally, you will coordinate the order fulfillment process to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and excels at managing the seamless flow of operations from import to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import Management:
- Oversee the import process of goods into the bonded warehouse, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and documentation.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and shipping companies to facilitate timely and accurate importation of products.
- Order Fulfillment Oversight:
- Supervise the order fulfillment process for products in the bonded warehouse, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.
- Create commercial invoices and packing lists for export orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Keep track of customs entries and depletions to maintain compliance with bonded warehouse operations.
- Warehouse Exit Management:
- Oversee the process for goods exiting the bonded warehouse, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, including export documentation and customs clearances.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to facilitate the timely dispatch of goods once they exit the bonded warehouse.
- Serve as a liaison between the bonded warehouse and customs authorities to resolve any compliance issues or inquiries related to entries and exits.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and optimize processes related to inventory management, customs compliance, and order fulfillment for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop improvements that enhance the overall logistics and supply chain flow in and out of the bonded warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or inventory management; international sourcing experience is a strong plus.
- Proficient in import regulations and customs procedures, including an understanding of essential documentation such as Lacey Act forms and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes; previous experience with compliance documentation is a plus.
- Familiarity with customs audits, ability to stay updated on regulatory changes, and hands-on experience in compiling import documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with databases or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
