Full-time Faculty Position for New Residency Program Near Cleveland, Ohio
Mercy Health Lorain Hospital, located thirty miles west of Cleveland, is recruiting a full-time faculty member to join our innovative family medicine residency. This new program will start in 2025. The role involves both clinical and teaching responsibilities within our Family Medicine Residency Program.
This position works closely with the program director and existing faculty. Ideal candidates are board certified/board eligible in Family Medicine and eligible for an Ohio license. Obstetrical experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching, supervision, and evaluation of residents
- Curriculum development
- Maintenance of program accreditation
- Resident recruitment
- Scholarly activities
- Patient care
This is a salaried position with comprehensive benefits. Recent graduates are considered. Preference is given to applicants with experience teaching residents and developing curriculum.
