Assists licensed nursing staff by performing technical skills and assisting patients with activities of daily living on the unit. Ability to execute all tasks contained in BHT I job description. Facilitate psych-educational groups, co-facilitate group psychotherapy assigned.Promotes and maintains a safe environment conducive to healing and health promotion.Performs active milieu assessment while assigned to safety rounds.Performs screening on admission related to services needed.Identifies patient behaviors that contribute to development of a crisis; utilizes non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis situations.EDUCATION : 2 year / Associates Degree or related health field, 5 years exp if no degree(Preferred)Basic Life Support Certification Required - American Heart AssociationSHIFT / SCHEDULEFull Time - Scheduled for 36 Weekly HoursShift Time - 7PM-7 : 30AMThis position will have scheduled shifts every other weekend.Many of our opportunities reward
