Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our dynamic gastroenterology team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact in patient care within our hospitalist setting, covering either St. Vincent or St. Charles / Perrysburg services (coverage may vary week to week).
Position Overview :
- Role : Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) for Gastroenterology Service
- Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM, 7 on / 7 off rotation
- Locations : St. Vincent or St. Charles / Perrysburg services, with potential variation each week
- Primary Responsibilities :
- Hospital consults and rounding
- Providing consults and discharges
- Arranging for endoscopy services in collaboration with the surgery department
- Following up on labs, imaging, and patient care plans
- Prioritizing patient cases based on severity and required procedures
- Reviewing patient lists, labs, and imaging at the start of each day at 7 : 00 AM
- Rounding with physicians as needed
