What are the responsibilities and job description for the Watchman (PT) 2nd & 3rd Shift position at Bon Secours Wellness Arena?
Bon Secours Wellness Arena is in search of professional part-time watchman/security personnel for 2nd & 3rd shifts to ensure safety and security of our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and ensure appropriate safeguards. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Observe for signs of disorder and investigate disturbances
- Notify authorities and arena management of emergency incidents

Minimum:
- At least 18 years old with High School diploma or equivalent GED
- Proven work experience as security personnel or relevant position
- Must be Dependable and Punctual
- Surveillance skills and high attention to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
- Ability to remain calm and composed during high activity; to remain alert to surroundings and to think quickly under pressure
Scheduling - Flexible shifts and days, part-time only
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly; Direct Deposit required.
Hourly Rate: $12.00 FLSA status: non-exempt
Work Shift:
- Weekdays (Monday - Friday)
- 2nd shift: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
- 3rd shift: Midnight - 8:00am
- Weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- 2nd - 5:00pm - 11:00pm
- 3rd - Midnight - 8am
