Job Overview:
Bon Suisse is a Milk and Ice cream distribution company with several distribution depots throughout California and Arizona. We have been in business for over 36 years delivering dairy and ice cream products to grocery stores, restaurants, stadiums, schools and everything in between.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Route Driver to join our team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. . Total number of deliveries per day can vary from 8-20 stores. Some of the accounts may require additional merchandising and rotation of products. Start times vary from 4am-5am and most shifts are 8-10 hours Monday-Friday. Weekend work is optional if needed. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, commercial driving regulations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and inventory management.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 2 years minimum experience in route driving, commercial driving, or as a van driver preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies.
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test

Compensation: Competitive Wage Paid Bi Weekly -$41,600.00 annual plus depending on Experience.
