The Role
Uqora has been changing lives since 2017 and continues to be the leader in our category on Google; we’re seeking an accomplished Paid Search Manager to bring their expertise and out of the box thinking to expand our footprint in the ever evolving search landscape. You’ll own the strategy and implementation, in conjunction with our agency, for the full customer journey from initial query through to conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEM strategies, be an expert in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and have demonstrable experience implementing growth strategies across platforms to deliver against goals.

$104,000 - $157,000
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role. You’ll own the strategy and implementation, in conjunction with our agency, for the full customer journey from initial query through to conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEM strategies, be an expert in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and have demonstrable experience implementing growth strategies across platforms to deliver against goals.
A Sampling Of Responsibilities
- Strategy ownership: Develop and implement comprehensive SEM strategies to achieve omnichannel business objectives for new customer acquisition and brand defense. Manage process for continuous improvement across campaigns with agency.
- Campaign Management: Partner with our search agency to manage and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads, ensuring effective keyword targeting, ad copy, bidding strategies and experiment design.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEM campaign performance metrics, such as impressions, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), cost-per-click (CPC), and CAC. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments.
- Keywords & Copy: Do periodic keyword mining and ensure agency is targeting core and adjacent keywords with appropriate copy and landing experiences.
- Budget Management: Manage SEM budgets effectively, ensuring that ad spend is allocated efficiently to maximize ROI. Make recommendations for budget adjustments based on performance data and business needs.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights as needed, and surface findings to leadership that could be opportunities for Uqora.
- Adjacent Channel Expansion: Use your experience and learnings from search to expand into new areas that can help Uqora reach more people who can benefit from our products.

- Analytical; you notice inconsistencies and dig in to find out what’s behind them, turning potential discrepancies into opportunities

- Creative; find new ways to communicate what Uqora sells, think outside the box and not afraid to try new things
- Accountable; you do what you say you will and the team can rely on you to deliver items on time at high quality
- Customer centric; you easily put yourself in our customers shoes to best understand what they need to see/hear in order to feel confident that Uqora is right for them
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEM/PPC management, with a strong track record of successful campaign optimization and performance improvement.
- DTC brand experience; subscription business or Amazon a plus
- Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics and strong understanding of A/B testing, DTC business metrics and how search channels play a role in the overall marketing ecosystem in a prospective customer’s path to purchase.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and persuasive ad copy and reports and the ability to break down complex search concepts for those less familiar with it.
- Partner management experience to achieve goals.
- Self-starter when given a goal, can take initiative to plan through details and execute flawlessly
- Experience with regulated or health products or services a plus
- Experience driving strong performance in other channels a plus
- Interest in the women’s health space
