THE ROLE
The Sr. Analyst, Sales Force Analytics, Bonafide reports directly to the Director, Sales Force Analytics, Bonafide. This role is responsible for leveraging prescription data (such as IQVIA and Definitive Healthcare), as well as Salesforce and Looker to analyze sales performance, generate actionable insights, and optimize field sales force effectiveness. This role will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, sales training and other key stakeholders to enhance data visibility, drive field force effectives, and support strategic sales and marketing initiatives and sales incentive programs.

National Target Base Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $128,000.00
The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $86,000.00 - $142,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
- Assist with development, implementation, communication, and administration of sales force incentive compensation plans, policies, and quotas.
- Create and communicate sales force incentive compensation reporting packages; standardize and automate reporting tools; monitor and evaluate Sales Incentive Plan results relative to sales performance
- Calculate Sales Incentive Plan payouts and coordinate with HR for payment processing.
- Reviews and makes recommendations to the Sales Incentive Plan financial model, monitoring payout trends and supporting SIP budget
- Responsible for monitoring and updating territory alignments (zip code to territory), in addition to finalizing territory alignment uploads for Veeva accounts
- Perform analytics to generate actionable insights for monthly business reviews
- Conduct in-depth proactive analyses of field sales and market trends to identify opportunities and assess potential risks.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze data and perform ad hoc analyses
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supports the Sales Force Incentive Plan processes, ensuring payouts are dispersed accurately and timely.
- Works closely with Sales Leadership and home office colleagues to align the Sales Incentive Plan with business objectives and adjust as necessary.
- Proactively monitor Sales Incentive Plan actuals vs. budget, highlighting risks in budget performance.
- Benchmarks and measures Sales Incentive Plan performance relative to industry and internal effectiveness measures.
- Identifies clear actionable insights supported by data-driven analysis across complex data sets (i.e., medical claims, promotional activity, prescribing outcomes).
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree: an advanced degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative discipline is preferred
- 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role, preferable in the pharmaceutical industry
- Hands on-experience working with sales incentive compensation software (Xactly, Javelin, CaptivateIQ, Anaplan)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, work quickly, and meet tight deadlines
- Extensive hands-on experience with large databases, Strong SQL, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience analyzing sales representative performance and working with medical claims data (such as IQVIA and Definitive Healthcare) is preferred
