Location: Venice, Louisiana

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Oil and Gas Production Operator to manage day-to-day operations at our production facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records, equipment logs, and shift reports.
• Coordinate with opposite shift operators to ensure smooth handovers.
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced operators.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Operate and maintain familiarity with SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Reliable work vehicle (required).
• Ability to operate a boat (preferred or required, depending on location).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience as an Oil and Gas Production Operator.
• Strong working knowledge of oil and gas production processes and equipment.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $30.00 (based on experience)
• Overtime: Time and a half applies
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off rotation, 12-hour shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
