What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Server position at Bonchon Chicken?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Experience using the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant point-of-sale software
- Knowledge of guest service principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service setting is preferred
