Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Senior Project Manager in managing all phases of the construction process, ensuring alignment with the project timelines, budgets and quality standards. This position offers excellent growth opportunities for emerging construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Project Manager in budget tracking and schedule management.
- Coordinate communication among subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing detailed cost and progress reports.
- Manage adherence to project-related contracts and operating agreements.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards.
- Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate delays.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
Compile monthly expenses to support and facilitate monthly draw requests to investors and lenders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience supporting construction projects; multifamily experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of Phoenix building codes and safety regulations.
