We're currently hiring a seasoned Senior Property Manager to lead operations at a prominent luxury residential community comprising over 100 apartment units located in West Town, Chicago.
Role Overview:
The Senior Property Manager is responsible for guiding the daily management and strategic direction of the property, including resident engagement, operational efficiency, team leadership, and financial oversight. Success in this role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic insight, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident experiences.

Primary Duties:
Resident Experience & Engagement:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing all resident interactions professionally and promptly.
- Develop strategies and activities aimed at maximizing resident retention and satisfaction.
- Organize and manage community-building events to strengthen resident relationships and promote a sense of belonging.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage an exceptional team including leasing and maintenance staff.
- Cultivate a collaborative, positive, and high-performance work environment.
Operational Excellence:
- Direct all operational functions including leasing processes, rent collections, property maintenance, and third-party vendor coordination.
- Conduct routine property inspections ensuring outstanding community presentation, cleanliness, safety, and appeal.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes for increased efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Financial Stewardship:
- Create and oversee annual budgets, forecast financial performance, and manage capital expenditure plans.
- Regularly analyze financial reports, monitor expenses, and proactively manage budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and financial records according to company standards.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
- Maintain rigorous compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including Fair Housing guidelines.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure full compliance and operational excellence.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business, Real Estate Management, or related fields).
- 5 years' experience managing luxury multifamily residential communities, ideally 300 units.
- Solid background in leasing strategies, operational management, maintenance oversight, and financial management.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience utilizing property management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred certifications: CPM (Certified Property Manager) or ARM (Accredited Residential Manager).

Work Schedule:
- Standard Monday to Friday workweek, with occasional availability required for on-call duties or weekend activities.
