What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative Automotive position at Bond Consultants Group?
Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients - Global Manufacturing Company - is currently looking for a Sales Representative/ Manager.
Responsibilities:
◆ Drive new sales initiatives:
・Sales activities targeting Japanese, U.S., and European Tier-1 suppliers
・Develop new clients, focusing on the automotive industry
・Formulate and execute sales strategies
◆Build sales strategies based on market research:
・Formulate and manage sales plans
◆Manage the sales team
・Organize the team structure, train subordinates, and manage performance
◆Establish customer relationships
・Expand business with existing customers (local team already in place for this)
・Build networks with local companies and suppliers
◆Support establishment of the office
・Select properties and coordinate the establishment of a local entity
・Formulate and execute policies for office operations
Minimum Requirements:
◆Business-level or higher English proficiency, capable of conducting negotiations in English.
◆3-5 years of experience in manufacturing sales.
◆3 years team management experience.
◆Proven track record of achievements in new business development sales.
◆Capable of working outside Detroit proper.
◆Willing to travel domestically within the U.S. (primarily the Midwest: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois; with possible trips to Georgia, South Carolina, Canada, Mexico, and other locations).
【Preferred Requirements】
◆Sales experience in the automotive industry
◆Sales experience within North or South America
◆Proficient in Japanese
【Educational Background】
Bachelor’s degree or higher
