Bond Events is a full-service event management and production firm. We specialize in large-scale conferences and gala fundraising productions. Our portfolio includes presidential inaugurations, national memorial dedications, festivals and concerts that draw hundreds of thousands of participants. Our executive team provides our clients with the strategic counsel and guidance they need to successfully navigate the complexities of hosting an out of town conference, including advising design and concept; developing production schedules; managing budgets; and coordinating teams of vendors, staff and volunteers. We also bring our expertise in executing every step for planning and production, providing complete turn-key services.
We are a small firm who has doubled its growth in the last two years. We have 10 full time employees with an office based in DC and approximately 6,000 square feet of warehouse spaces, based in Hyattsville, MD.
Our events are located in DC and across the country, with a strong presence in California. We plan and execute approximately 150 events a year.
We are currently looking to fill the position of an Event Producer. This role requires excellent event-planning skills along with the ability to define project milestones and deadlines and coordinate both teams and external contractors to ensure a successful and enjoyable event that meets organizational goals and expectations.
Events project managers need to balance creativity with logistics, financial planning, and vendor management duties. They should excel at multitasking and balancing big-picture concerns like venue and contractor selection with details like décor and meal planning, effectively utilizing resources and personnel to stage large- and small-scale events.
- Manage of all client communication
- Lead producer teams for event execution
- Mentor other producers on the team
- Create event documents to include Experience Documents, Event Memos, Production Schedules, and others as required.
- Develop/Manage/Reconcile budgets
- Develop event timelines
- Organize and managing status reports for client calls
- Source and negotiate vendor contracts
- Manage vendors load in and onsite
- Source and manage inventory and developing inventory lists
- Develop staffing plans
- Conduct pre-production meetings
- Coordinate project management
- Onsite management
- Conduct debriefs with clients
- Other duties as assigned by the Company
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8 years’ experience in the event industry and supervisory role
- Proven experience with catering, hotels, venue management
- Proven experience managing deadlines and meeting objectives
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Flexible work hours, nights, weekends, etc.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Calendar and other software programs
- Marketing experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
