Field / home visit position.
Location : Monsey and Monroe, NY
Hours : Sunday 12-9 PM, Monday-Thursday 1-9 PM
Job Description :
We are looking for a reliable and professional Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential healthcare support to patients at their assigned locations. You will be expected to maintain professionalism, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with both patients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities :
In this field-based role, you will be responsible for providing essential patient care, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Wearing provided scrubs, communicating with patients and the office through WhatsApp and Route Manager, and efficiently completing 10-20 home visits. You will also be required to maintain cleanliness, use gloves, and handle medical documentation accurately. Initial training on medical tests, vitals, and company policies will be provided, with additional training available as needed. A commitment to patient confidentiality and safety is essential. Qualifications :
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working with pediatrics as well as adults
- Phlebotomy Certification (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain professional and compassionate when interacting with patients
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid Driver's License and up-to-date vehicle insurance
- Reliable vehicle for travel to and from patient locations
- Ability to handle 10-20 in-home visits per shift
