Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Surety Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial clients with a primary focus on surety bonds. This in-office role in Mesa, AZ, requires direct client interaction, proactive account management, and expert advisory services. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial insurance / surety, excels in relationship management, and is detail-oriented in surety operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management : Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their surety bond needs are met with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Renewal Oversight : Manage the full renewal process, ensuring timely issuance, compliance with terms, and proactive client communication.
  • Expert Advisory : Provide clients with strategic guidance on bond requirements, market trends, and compliance matters.
  • Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate records, licensing details, and ensure adherence to regulatory and underwriting standards.
  • Relationship Building : Cultivate strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure seamless service and issue resolution.
  • Financial Coordination : Oversee payments, account reconciliations, and premium financing arrangements with precision and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement : Contribute to workflow enhancements and operational efficiencies to elevate the client experience.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Experience in commercial insurance, surety bonds, or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Preferred :

  • Background in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience managing commercial accounts in the insurance or financial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of surety bonds, underwriting, or contract analysis.
