Position Summary:
The purpose of this role is to assist in maintaining essential Quality and Food Safety programs for Bonduelle Americas.
What you will Do:
- Maintains and updates QMS Corporate SOPs and documents
- Maintains 3rd Party Audit calendar for BA facilities,Is a back-up for customer requests and document uploads in customer portals
- Maintains and manages emergency contact lists for BA facilities
- Assists with data reporting to Group for BA facilities
- Maintains specification updates on data reporting systems
- Update & maintain Organic Plan Summaries for BA facilities
- Assist with development of system checklists/documents on data management systems
- Analyzes micro testing costs and issues quarterly monthly scorecard
- Maintains changes in 3rd party lab portals
- Assists with Corporate swabathons with the aid of the site FS hygienist
- Responsible for providing training, as needed, to plant personnel on quality, food safety and basic GMP practices
- Assists Corporate Team and other assigned duties by Manager
- Trends KPI data for Quality & Food Safety
- Perform Risk Assessments as needed
- Supports sites with audit compliance and audit preparation
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S in Food Science or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience developing and deploying policies and processes in a food manufacturing environment
- Direct experience working with SQF auditors, third-party auditors, and/or regulatory agencies.
- Data analysis, statistical process control, and problem-solving skills are preferred
- Must possess advanced computer skills in database management, specifically with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Prefer HACCP and PCQI certification.GFSI/SQF practitioner training is a plus.
- Must possess excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers
- Understanding of and ability to apply Lean/continuous improvement concepts in daily work.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, multi-task, and interact with different departments and as a team member.
- Ability to travel, ranging from 30-50% travel
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Must be able to spend extended periods of time viewing computer screens and/or operating a keyboard.
- Familiarity with data management systems such as JDE, Datahex, and Tableau are preferred.
