Position Summary:
As a Key Account Manager - Food Service you will have direct responsibility for growing and managing Bonduelle Americas sales revenue and profit goals for our food service accounts. In addition to the day to day management of the business, you’ll have an integral role in setting the foundation for long-term growth by leading joint business planning and working with the organization to develop strategic roadmaps for the assigned accounts. You’ll also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities as we expand our portfolio and distribution in line with our key growth initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive sales growth and profitability within assigned accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Manage daily operations and communications to ensure business continuity and strengthen customer engagement.
- Prepare monthly and annual volume forecasts as part of the Integrated Business Planning process, aligning supply planning with demand forecasts.
- Lead key distribution initiatives to expand the Bonduelle brand.
- Develop and execute trade promotions using revenue growth management principles to maximize ROI and volume growth.
- Leverage consumer insights and syndicated data to create fact-based strategies that drive sales and profitability.
- Provide weekly management reports outlining progress, key metrics, and action plans to drive business growth.
- Represent the company at key customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen relationships and market presence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of account sales experience within the Produce category, selling to traditional Food, Drug, and Mass retailers in the Western U.S.
- Sales & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales and profit drivers, including volume and trade promotions, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling selling propositions to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Influence: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in leveraging insights and syndicated data to support fact-based strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to ensure clarity and alignment across internal teams and external partners.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment while maintaining a proactive, results-driven mindset.
- Collaboration: Strong team player who can effectively work across all levels of an organization.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Google Suite, SPINS/IRI, Tableau, and other business applications.
- Results-Oriented: A track record of driving measurable results with a bias for action.
- Passion & Drive: Eager to learn and succeed in a dynamic, high-energy culture.
- Travel: 30-50% travel required.
