Position Summary:
This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. This position is responsible for maintaining production packaging material inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follows GMP/PPE, Safety guidelines
- Follow & maintain HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes
- Utilize DSI Scanner Functions to allocate inventory to various production work order, film, boxes, trays
- Maintain accurate inventory of film, boxes & trays
- Understands yield standards
- Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
- Perform proper scanning of line downtime and scan proper parts/SKUs.
- Keeps track of identification tags by running reports from ERP & RPDMS system
- Maintain Production efficiency (80% )
- Run inventory reports to ensure all materials have been entered correctly into JDE
- Supports production as necessary
- Record inventory on the usage sheet
- Ability to be crossed trained & multitask in multiple positions
- Maintain safe work environment
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Comply with SQF Regulatory Programs
- Maintains a clean work area at all times
- Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.
- Validates physical inventory quantities by location & matches against consumptions
- Ensures compliance for product specifications
- Conduct AM activities for which responsible
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
- Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
- Comprehension of basic math
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, JDE/DSI/RPDMS)
- SKI CK3 Scanner
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to understand plant KPI’s (production, quality & safety)
- GED/High School Diploma.
Physical Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
