Position Summary :
This role is a key position within our Salads production room and operates and maintains the sealing machine equipment. This pivotal role impacts line efficiencies by increasing production, reducing rework and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections for quality
- Perform basic preventative maintenance of the equipment when applicable
- Basic troubleshooting
- Observe production and monitors equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Manage and reduce waste (product giveaway) by use of scale system
- Communicate and educate other associates for the purpose of maintaining good product quality as it enters the sealing equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Work Environment :
Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements (i.e., loading bowls into tray carrier). The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
