A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN COORDINATOR
A Central Service Technician Coordinator starts and ends their day with keeping our patients safe and decreasing the risk of a surgical infection. They will provide guidance throughout the day to the Operating Room Team regarding the sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments. Additionally, they will oversee the tasks of the other central service/sterile processing technician.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN COORDINATOR
- One year of central service/sterile processing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid WI Driver's license
- Knowledge of sterilization method and aseptic technique
- Demonstrates knowledge of surgical products, instruments, and equipment
- Possess excellent organizational skills
WORK SCHEDULE
The hours for a Central Service Technician can be variable based on surgery schedules.
