A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HIM SPECIALIST
Working in the Health Information Department provides diverse responsibilities. It will be a mix of scanning, indexing, prepping, and other duties assigned all rolled into one for this impressive role. You'll get to interact with clinical staff members and providers and communicate with external customers. You will have one on one meetings with your supervisor and have monthly team huddles, where you will learn what is happening around the organization. One of the most important responsibilities in this role will be to abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) state and federal regulations. Don't worry, our training process is excellent, and you will be up to speed in no time.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position is on site and requires working Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. There may be times when asked to work a flexible schedule to cover for vacations and illness.

Salary : $16 - $24
