The Commercial Roofing and Business Development Sales Manager will drive revenue, strategy, and the development of the Commercial Roofing and Business Development teams. The position will report
directly to the Director of Commercial Business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the Commercial and Business Development teams to develop and successfully execute annual revenue targets across all markets with Commercial and Business Development capabilities.
- Reviews and analyzes sales reports; uses data to project sales and determine profitability and targets.
- Ensure key processes are consistently implemented - appointment setting, thorough inspection process, selling technique, i360, Captivated, all leading to consistently meeting and exceeding the Bone-Dry Experience.
- Continually assess market conditions against sales capacity to ensure proper coverage and timely customer meetings.
- Role Model a mindset that promotes a high-performance culture and mindset amongst the team
- Works collaboratively on marketing programs and promotions to increase sales.
- Conduct regular meetings to ensure constant communication and consistent application of company sales strategy, policies, etc. with the sales and Business Development team.
- Works with the Business Development team to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through email, video / telephone calls, in-person meetings, and industry events.
- Maintains oversight of sales metrics to include total sales, monthly sales, and closing percentage, resulting appointments, debriefs, and follow-ups.
- Identifies opportunities and strategies for improvement in the market; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
- Set annual budgets and goals with the sales team.
- Monitors and approves expenses and ensures compliance with budgets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
