DIRECTOR OF SURGERY CENTER OPERATIONS

The Director of Surgery Center Operations is responsible for the oversight and management of the Surgery Center and reports directly to the Board of Directors. Our facility is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong leadership qualities to facilitate our continued growth. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Registered Nurse license required
- Experience in managing the clinical and business aspects of a surgery center including its operating rooms - minimum of two (2) years’ experience
- Experience in maintaining Medicare certification and AAAHC accreditation
- Experience with surgery center EHR and PM software systems
- Excellent organizational, written and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a resource and role model for staff
- Develop policies & procedures that ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality
- Analyze clinical, technical and financial information to improve the organization
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new programs and services
- Maintain top quartile performance in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and financial performance
- Work with Human Resources to ensure consistent policy compliance
- Select and hire employees according to established guidelines
- Ensure ongoing compliance with governmental, clinical, accreditation, and organizational requirements
- Maintain effective working relationships with staff, peers, surgeons, and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
