We are excited to announce an opening for a Warehouse Associate at our multi-division traffic sign company in Alpharetta, GA. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble traffic signs according to specifications and production schedules. This includes attaching various components such as reflective sheeting, brackets, and mounting hardware.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Report any issues to the supervisor.
- Retrieve and prepare materials needed for assembly, ensuring they are in good condition and meet production requirements.
- Operate assembly line machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, including quantities assembled and any issues encountered during the process.
- Work closely with other assembly line workers and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of assembly line machinery and tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
