We’re seeking an onsite NetSuite Systems Administrator-Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for the administration and management of the NetSuite Supply Chain Management (SCM) platform. Key tasks include configuration and customization, hands-on testing, end-user support and training, and project management. The NetSuite Administrator - Supply Chain Specialist will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, provide technical solutions, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is responsible for maintaining and integrating systems such as NetSuite, SPS Commerce, Shopify, and ShipHero to ensure operational efficiency and seamless communication with retail distribution partners. This position balances hands-on technical expertise with strategic planning and collaboration with stakeholders to implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
System Integration & Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and manage integrations between ERP (NetSuite), WMS (ShipHero), e-commerce platforms (Shopify), and retail distribution systems (SPS Commerce).
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and optimization of EMS, TMS, and WMS solutions to align with business needs.
- Ensure seamless communication with external retail distributors, handling EDI/API transactions (e.g., purchase orders, shipping notifications, invoices).
- Troubleshoot system and integration issues to minimize operational disruptions and maintain data accuracy.
Business Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gather requirements, analyze current workflows, and design improved processes.
- Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system enhancements and technology investments.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing supply chain workflows, inventory management, and distribution operations.
System Implementation & Maintenance:
- Configure and maintain NetSuite and other business systems to ensure they meet operational goals.
- Document system functionality, workflows, and integration points, creating user manuals and training materials for end users.
- Perform regular system testing, security audits, and compliance checks to ensure high performance and data protection.
- Interact with vendors, contractors, and external partners to secure and manage technology-related products and services.
Support & Training:
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to system integrations and business processes.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users to maximize adoption and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and scalability.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP administration and business systems analysis (NetSuite experience strongly preferred other ERP systems considered).
- Hands-on experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and API integrations (JSON, XML, REST).
- Experience with supply chain and logistics platforms like SPS Commerce, Shopify, and ShipHero.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills, with experience overseeing system implementations and process enhancements.
- Working knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite ERP Consultant) or supply chain management (e.g., APICS).
