Restaurant Expeditor

Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House Surprise is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position is essential for enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests in a restaurant setting.

Duties

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen personnel to relay order details and special requests.
• Monitor the quality of dishes before they are served to guests, ensuring they meet presentation standards.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including bussing tables when necessary.
• Support the culinary team during peak service times by helping with various kitchen tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience in a restaurant is required.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices is essential.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
