Job Summary:

The HR Manager is responsible for supporting our leaders, managers, and employees. They will be a champion of our culture and core values. The HR Manager must be knowledgeable and able to function at a professional level in all aspects of HR, which includes: people leadership, culture, employee & leadership development, recruiting, benefits administration, compensation, and compliance. This is a hands-on role, and you will be expected to self-perform many of the HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of HR activities within the organization. The position reports to the CFO.

What You Get to Do (Duties/Responsibilities):

Strategic HR Planning

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy, then execute HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Drive the HR agenda, emphasizing talent acquisition, retention, and development to support growth and success.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance organizational performance, including facilitating training and development initiatives as needed.

Recruitment, Onboarding & Talent Management

  • Assist in and oversee the recruitment & selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers. Ensure the acquisition of top talent.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and promoting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues and disputes.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and compensation structures.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrollment.
  • Ensure that the organization's compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

HR Policy and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure the organization's HR practices are up to date, including federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Assist with HR audits and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure policies are documented, communicated and followed throughout the organization.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and databases.

HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize HR data and metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s Human Capital Management system (HCM).
  • Generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount and diversity for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with various deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels within the company.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and benefits administration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ten plus years of relevant progressive work experience in Human Resources.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Additional Details:

At a minimum, a background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.

What’s In It for You?

Base Pay: $85,000 - $95,000

Bonus Pay: 10% annually

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
