What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor Night Shift position at Bongards' Creameries?
Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as a Janitor on our 3rd Shift.
Job Duties
- Cleaning of all lunchrooms/break areas
- Cleaning of all bathrooms
- Floor scrubbing in assigned areas
- Maintaining perimeter of plant
- All Locker rooms
- Changing rugs as necessary
- Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain a license
- Plant offices
- All duties listed on the janitorial Master Sanitation Schedule
- Plastic recycling and cardboard at Retail store
- Stocking shelves from chemical cage
- Taking out garbage
- Cleaning of QC and Tech Services lab
- All other duties as assigned
Other requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be able to be certified to drive a company vehicle.
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
Physical capabilities
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to carry up to 40 pounds.
