What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Blend Set Up Operator position at Bongards' Creameries?
Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as Blend Set Up on our processed Loaf Cheese line on the Day Shift
Job Duties
- Responsible for the staging of cheese barrels.
- Record keeping of all lot numbers used for the ingredients and barrels of cheese.
- Must be able to hang barrels and assist with barrel grinding and giving breaks in area.
- Maintaining fat tank full of butterfat.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain a license.
- Must be able to organize multiple tasks.
- Able to work in a safe and proficient manner.
- Perform miscellaneous sanitation duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Report all food safety problems to your immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or lead person.
Other requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to follow written communication.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to both food and employee safety.
Physical capabilities
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Able to lift 60-70 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently
