What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Grind Room Team Lead position at Bongards' Creameries?

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist production supervisor with managing production lines and personnel
- Provide assistance to machine operators as necessary (changeovers, breaks, etc)
- Coordinate personnel assignments as needed
- Safe operation of high-pressure hoses
- Become trained and knowledgeable about all GMP and HACCP guidelines
- Become trained and certified on Powered Industrial Trucks
- Learn ROSS systems
- Respond to confidential issues
- Train, Coach and Mentor members of the production crew
- Work with paperwork for export shipments and audits
- Work in a safe and proficient manner
- Report all food safety and quality problems to immediate supervisor or designated backup
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Math and Reading skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other Quality guidelines
- Must maintain highest quality standards for plant and equipment cleanliness
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
Schedule:
- Night Shift 5:00pm to 5:00am Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday, Sunday
