What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Team Lead position at Bongards' Creameries?
Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as a Team Leader on our night shift loaf processed cheese line.
Job Duties
- Assist production supervisor with managing the production lines and personnel.
- Provide assistance to machine operators as necessary.
- Assist relief operators with facilitating break periods.
- Assist with product changeovers.
- Coordinate personnel assignments when needed.
- Complete line checks and record necessary data on the check sheets.
- Report all food safety and quality problems to immediate supervisor or their designated back-up.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Other requirements
- Work with paperwork for export shipments and audits.
- Approve invoices from Silliker Labs, R-Tech, Ecolab and MVTL.
- Everybody has responsibility for food safety.
- Report to your supervisor if food safety issues are found.
- Familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office Products.
- Expected to learn Ross Systems.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and deal with confidential issues.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to Safety, GMP’s, and all other company policies.
Physical capabilities
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs.
