An established accounting firm in the Charleston, SC area is seeking a professional with experience in tax or bookkeeping to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Meet with clients to provide tax planning, advisory services, and ensure compliance.
- Help oversee office operations, assisting with workflow management and team coordination.
- Stay current on tax laws and industry regulations to provide accurate and strategic guidance.
- Assist with other general accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tax or bookkeeping is required
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- CPA or working to obtain license is preferred, but not required.
