Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our well established private practice. Someone who is eager and able to grow as our practice does. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position and will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical office procedures, including medical records management and navigating insurance requirements . We are looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring that our office runs smoothly while providing high-quality care to our patients.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
- Implement and maintain office systems
- Collaborate with providers within the practice to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPPA and other regulatory requirements in all office operations.
- Ability to jump in and provide support in medical management tasks, including patient intake, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care as needed.
- Take the lead in hiring, training, and mentoring staff on all office related responsibilities and patient interactions.
- Willingness to do what it takes to ensure that our patients have an exceptional experience when interacting with our office.
Qualifications
- Experience as a medical office manager or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Facility with electronic health record systems and ability to toggle between the multiple different software platforms the practice uses in the day to day functioning of the office.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Exceptional communication skills when interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
