Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring timely seating.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu options.
- Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces.
- Support food service operations by delivering food and beverages as needed.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant services.
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and effective communication.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A background in hotel or hospitality settings can be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
