Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting flower arrangements to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and safe delivery of floral arrangements. The Delivery Driver will utilize company transit van, or personal vehicle while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Drivers will be paid $10 per delivery (NOT per hour). A typical delivery is approximately 20 min and any tips from customers goes to the driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transit van to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products
• Communicate effectively with florist and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
• Assist with flower shop duties as needed, including inventory management, processing flowers and organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
