As we continue to expand, BoatJunkie Sales and Service is seeking a skilled, experienced and licensed Marine Delivery Captain.
Ideal Candidate will efficiently prep, and rig sold boats for delivery to ensure customer has a safe and enjoyable operation experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct customer sea trial, orientation, and delivery by ensuring customers understand vessel operations and safety, explaining dealership services and policies, addressing concerns, promoting company offerings, recommending enhancements, and proactively resolving any delivery issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
2. Deliver outstanding customer service in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
3. Ensure all boats sold are properly rigged, tested, and fully operational before delivery, including mechanical and electronic systems.
4. Perform mechanical rigging including but not limited to PowerPoles, propellors, batteries, trim tabs, turbo swing, etc.
5. Perform electronics rigging including but not limited to GPS, VHF, GOST, radars, autopilots, SeaKeepers, etc.
Requirements:
·Valid Driver’s license (Required)
·Technical or vocational training in marine mechanics preferred
· 5 years of experience in boat rigging, marine mechanics, or related field
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and assembly
· Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and precision
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
