REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Leader
SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 1st Shift Position (7 AM- 7 PM) 12 hour a day work schedule 2-days on/2-days off/every other weekend (rotating shift)
STARTING PAY: $22.56 per hour, with the ability to earn more.
We are seeking a skilled Azobrader Operator to join our team in the Finishing Department. As an Azobrader Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring the proper finishing of aluminum products through the operation of advanced Azobrader machinery. This position requires a keen eye for detail, as you will be responsible for achieving specific surface finishes that meet both company standards and client specifications. You will engage in various tasks, including loading materials, setting machine parameters, and conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with our strict quality control measures. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Operate and maintain Azobrader machinery for the finishing of aluminum products.
- Load raw materials into the Azobrader and set appropriate machine settings based on production requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the machinery and output to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor production processes and adjust parameters as necessary to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
- Proven experience operating Azobrader or similar finishing machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment repairs.
- Understanding of quality control principles and experience in producing compliant finished products.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including manuals and production orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
