Candidate will be reporting to the plant management directly with dotted-line responsibility to the Director of Operational Excellence.
This position is developmental / transitional, and the candidate should be capable of being considered for future Managerial, Engineering, Quality or Divisional OE succession.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Support and assure the integrity of the Bonnell Business system :
- Use the Business System as the guide to drive systems and decisions.
- Support / assure management standard work exists and is effective.
- Drive / Co-own the PDM process to assure direction of improvement supports plant goals.
- Track and report on key metrics as defined by the PDM.
- Establish review schedule and standard work for PDM activities.
- Support management with critical thinking processes to elevate the organization.
Able to be trained and provide training in OPEX methodologies and tools :
- Lead, direct, and mentor OPEX Greenbelts and their project teams.
- Track and report on key projects, participate actively in phase gate reviews.
- Maintain and keep current list of potential projects ., manage project portfolio.
- Will be a part of a wider OPEX network and should be able to travel and assist in training, OPEX events, and other Divisional activities.
Coach and Mentor
- Work with high-performance teams to develop operators by coaching problem-solving methods at the source for root-cause elimination.
- Resource for goal setting and opportunity identification
- Safety mentor and advocate
- Facilitate Kaizen and Mentor others to do so.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
- Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification or ability to certify with project results will be expected.
- Master of Science or other Secondary degree highly preferred, however applicable experience will be considered. (Must have 5 years minimum experience to be considered).
- Previous demonstrated Leadership experience required.
- Must be able to work in the . without Sponsorship.
