Job Title: Age Oven Operator
Reports To: Team Leader, following the directions of Extrusion Manager
Shift/Hours: Rotating 12-hour Shift- 2-days on/2-days off/every other weekend. 6:55 am- 6:55 pm.
Salary: 21.44 per hour
Age Oven Operator primary responsibility is to oversee the operation of age ovens used in the aging process of aluminum products. The Operator will ensure the age ovens are set up and operated efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Operate and monitor age ovens according to established procedures and schedules.
- Set up age ovens based on products specifications and aging requirements.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and relevant parameters to ensure proper aging of aluminum products.
- Conduct regular inspections of age ovens and equipment to identify and address any issues or malfunctions.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Record and maintain accurate records of oven temperatures and production data.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and achieve production targets.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in operating ovens or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials.
- Must pass company background check and drug screen.
