REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Leader
SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 3rd Shift Position (6:45 pm – 6:45 am) 12 hour a day work schedule with 3-days on and 3-days off
STARTING PAY: $30.08 per hour, with the ability to earn more.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, belts, gears, or electrical wiring, as needed.
- Maintain documentation for existing and new equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of parts.
- Provide assistance to mechanical installations as directed.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, electrical/mechanical problems on machinery.
- Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to ascertain problems with equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine problems and make appropriate repairs.
- Install and service a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical, communications and process control systems.
- Support continuous improvement engineer(s) and production departments by suggesting ways to improve the reliability and/or productivity of the equipment.
- Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- High school diploma or GED. Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- OR
- Five years related work experience.
- Experience with industrial, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
- Ability to work individually or in a team situation.
