Packer Trainee- 3rd Shift

Department : Anodizing

Reports to Title : Shift Leader with directions from a Team Leader

SHIFT DAYS / HOURS : 40 hours per week over the course of 5 days and sometimes 6 days (3rd shift is 9 : 00pm until 5 : 0o am Sun-Thurs).

Starting Pay : $19.24

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :

The Packer assists in the packing of cartons by folding them, following prescribed arrangement; placing products in cartons, sealing cartons, affixing proper labels, putting material on pallets, followed by filling out paperwork for shipping. This must all be completed while maintaining safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Properly packaging finished product to customer specifications.
• Attaches identification data onto article.
• Records factors of damaged goods.
• Assure cores are proper length for product and set correctly.
• Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean, clutter free workstation.
• Able to participate in a team-oriented environment.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standard.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

HS Diploma / GED, reliable transportation during working hours and have good interpersonal skills.
