Summary/Objective
This position helps set and maintain the pace of production. Responsible for supporting MFG Operations through timely processing of job documents (including, but not limited to creation of WT’s for lower level parts/weldments/assemblies, printing/sorting/staging job travelers for release to production,) and all administrative aspects of document collection and closing of completed jobs. This position will also assist in facilitating MFG expectations and progress throughout production and across other departments through report updates and communication boards.
Essential Functions

- Prepare, print, and queue jobs ahead of machine programming based on production schedule and/or product line needs.
- Schedule, print, and queue parts orders ahead of machine programming based on lead time goals and/or customer request dates.
- Verify raw materials needed to start production of jobs are available prior to turning them over to machine programming.
- Revise production schedule due dates to address issues with material or labor shortages, backlogs, or design changes.
- Run demand reports for stocking service parts and whole goods.
- Schedule replenishment and prepare, print, & queue jobs as required according to defined lead times.
- Process completed jobs to the required status in order to close out or invoice.
- Perform closeout process on make to stock jobs.
- Maintain communication boards in the shop – run kpi reports and post results on boards.
- Log department issues for corrective action and improvement ideas.
- Maintain serial number log for whole goods and distribute serial numbers to jobs.
- Process kanban jobs and audit process to verify accuracy of part quantities.
- Maintain accurate dates on sales orders and work tickets that align with estimated completion.
- Assist with developing detailed work instructions for various MFG processes.
- Coordinate with other departments for scheduling conflicts or question regarding the production schedule.
- Attends weekly production meetings as required.
- Represent Bonnell Industries Inc. in a positive and professional manner while interacting with customers.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in all weather conditions. This job requires heavy presence in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime. Your manager will provide you with the specific details of your schedule. The schedule is subject to change due to customer requirements or business needs. Overtime may be necessary (including evening and weekend work) to handle emergencies, heavy workloads or other issues.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and overnight travel may be expected. All travel must be approved in advance by management. Please reference the employee handbook for all applicable policies.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Advanced computer skills specifically Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates Degree
- Related scheduling experience or completed training.
- Similar or related product knowledge.
- Training in LEAN methods.
