The position: We are looking for a Make Ready Technician to join the team.
The Make Ready Technician is responsible to ensure that all vacated apartments are safely and thoroughly restored to "make ready" status according to the manager's timetable.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Monitors and performs make ready duties on vacant units
- Diagnoses problems and repairs for basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall
- Ensures residential units have been turned in a timely and efficient manner
- Provides excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants
- Promptly communicate with maintenance leadership concerning all maintenance issues at the property
- Provides on-call service when scheduled
- Ensure adherence to the company’s safety and hazard communications programs, policies and procedures
- Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and alerts the Maintenance Supervisor to items that need to be repaired
- Other duties as directed and assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in maintenance service for residential communities, other building maintenance or related trade
- Team oriented with ability to work independently on occasion
- Use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, ladders, refrigerant recovery units, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment; all equipment must be used without jeopardizing the safety of yourself, fellow associates or residents
- Be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing in English
