Shift: Variable
Hours: 40 hour per pay period
Diagnostic Imaging is a vast and diverse department consisting of X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Mammography, Nuclear Med and bone density. Our technicians and DI assistants work together to provide a safe and efficient experience.
Although the individual disciplines are located throughout the BGH campus...efficiency, skill and patient focused care remain constant. Our Diagnostic Assistants are in integral part of the team and work hard to keep schedules and the department running smoothly.
The radiologic/ mammographic technologist is a registered professional primarily specializing in the utilization of radiographic/mammographic equipment as necessary, and performs radiographic/mammographic examinations under the direction of a radiologist.

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA approved school
Completion of digital breast tomosynthesis mammography training as outlined by the FDA requirements for MQSA
Experience:
Minimum two years radiology experience preferred
Licensure / Certification:
Current BLS (AHA) certification
Must be ARRT registered in radiology and mammography
