During that time, we have specialized in hospitality, multi-unit, industrial, office, retail, healthcare, and tenant improvements. Because of this expansion, we are looking for a Construction Superintendent. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating on-site labor, ensuring that construction is performed safely, according to plans/specifications, and executed with the highest quality.
What you’ll do:
- Project Execution and Coordination:
- Develop and manage project schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Oversee and ensure quality control of subcontractor work.
- Coordinate required building inspections.
- Maintain detailed project documentation.
- Facilitate regular meetings with subcontractors to coordinate work.
- Project Closeout and Business Development:
- Manage project closeout, including obtaining certificates of occupancy and managing punch lists.
- Prepare and present project status reports.
- Market the company to owners and architects.
- Engage in business development activities to secure future opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and documentation.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in commercial construction projects
- OSHA 30 certification (recommended)
- Technical Skills:
- Reading and comprehending complex documents, work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Procore
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask
