We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to -hire position with our client, a well-established business located in Auburn, Maine This role is critical in managing corporate, individual, and club accounts as part of the member collections team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Office and has a strong background in Accounts Receivable . Success in this role means efficiently handling collections, balancing accounts, following up on outstanding debts, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will :
- Manage and follow up on accounts receivable for personal, corporate, and club accounts.
- Perform collections tasks, including customer service outreach regarding outstanding balances.
- Balance accounts and track purchase limits for members.
- Process and verify sales tax exemptions , ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist with A ccounts Payable (a plus, but not required).
- Work independently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
