The Enrollment Coordinator position in Auburn, Maine is responsible for managing the enrollment process for children into Head Start services. You’ll have a solid understanding of data entry, eligibility requirements, and ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance) procedures. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM position with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities
- Intake and data entry of all child / family information, ensuring age and income eligibility
- Maintain accurate waiting lists and timely responses to enrollment inquiries
- Enter ERSEA data with precision and produce monthly attendance reports
- Act as COPA support personnel, providing staff training and ensuring database accuracy
- Participate in transition activities for children and families, along with agency meetings and trainings
- Network with community providers like DHHS, ASPIRE, Advocates for Children, Public Nursing, etc.
