Compensation : $45.00 per hour
Position Summary
This is an experienced position within the Systems Administration team. The principal responsibilities of this position are to participate in the ongoing development, implementation and support of critical infrastructure. These systems support both internal and external customers. The incumbent will report to the Director of System Administration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Manage VMware enterprise environment spanning production and DR sites including replication, associated storage systems and disaster recovery
Administer Microsoft / Office 365 environment including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Defender for Endpoint
Manage, maintain and build additional Windows and Linux servers when needed along with associated software
Support Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy, DNS and print services.
Administration of company's backup and disaster recovery tools
Secondary Responsibilities
Provide support for enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls and layer 2 / 3 switching
Manage security technologies including web application firewalls, software patching and deployment, and end point protection
Qualifications and Work Experience
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of VMware technologies
Thorough understanding of enterprise storage systems, EMC preferred
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and greater
Experience and working knowledge of Linux operating systems and components
Working knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies
Knowledge of Load Balancing
Knowledge of enterprise class web security, web application firewalls, software and patch deployment and enterprise end point protection (Preferred)
Knowledge of Juniper firewalls and network switches (Preferred)
Knowledge of AWS (EKS, IAM, Networking, ALB, S3, Lambda, Amplify) and cloud technologies and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and CI / CD best practices. Experience with these technologies highly preferred.

Must be willing to learn, multi-task, manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
4 year degree (Preferred)
