Paid overtime: this role will work with partners in CA and across the US.
$89,000-$113,000, depending on legal experience, skills, and education.

The firm seeks a full-time patent prosecution secretary with at least 3 years of U.S. patent prosecution and application filing and prosecution experience. This position supports several timekeepers in Chemical, Biotech, Biopharma, or Mechanical Patent prosecution, including coverage support needed for secretarial absences in the department.
Duties:
• Prepare U.S. patent applications, amendments, and other legal documents for e-filing and reporting.
• Prepare reporting letters for the client to review by the timekeepers.
• Prepare expense reports for timekeepers.
• Work with Firm Travel to coordinate timekeeper travel arrangements.
• Correspond directly with clients as requested.
Knowledge and Skills Required and Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• 3 years of patent application filing and prosecution experience in Chemical, Biotech, Biopharma, or mechanical Patent prosecution.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in a document management software, preferably iManage.
• Experience in an IP Management Solution, preferably Inprotech.
• Available for overtime as needed
